From entrepreneurs to corporate leaders, these women are reshaping not only the business landscape of Prince George's County, but also the broader Washington D.C. metropolitan area.

A Legacy of Empowerment and Connection

Founded with a mission to bridge gaps between local women and key business markets, The Women of Prince George's (WPG) has become a beacon for professional women looking to expand their reach and make a lasting impact. By leveraging a robust network of business relationships across the Washington D.C. area, the organization creates mutually beneficial partnerships that elevate the economic position of local women and their families.

What started as a simple networking group has evolved into a powerful collective that spans industries, sectors, and sectors of society. Their work goes far beyond business development – it’s about community-building, advocacy, and providing the tools that women need to succeed in an ever-evolving global marketplace.

For local entrepreneurs, WPG has been instrumental in providing exposure to businesses targeting the diverse Prince George’s County community, as well as neighboring markets. With a strategic roster of influential partners, the organization plays a vital role in promoting women-owned businesses, ensuring that these entrepreneurs are not just seen, but celebrated.

WPG believes that when women thrive, families thrive, The focus has always been on supporting women in a holistic way—whether through professional development, financial literacy, or leadership training. The success as an organization isn’t just measured by the number of business deals made, but by the broader impact they have on the lives of the families and communities served.

This philosophy has proven to be powerful. As WPG continues to provide resources for financial independence, business acumen, and leadership skills, the benefits extend far beyond the women in their network—they help to create stronger, more resilient communities in Prince George’s County and the D.C. metro area.
