Meet Dr. Marcus Jackson
Dr. Marcus Jackson is an internationally recognized educator, professional author, and expert in curriculum, instruction, and school administration. His 20-year career is distinguished by increased student achievement and school improvement while serving as a principal at all levels, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Chief of Secondary Schools, Chief Academic Officer, and Chief of Student Services. He has served as an Adjunct Professor at Clark Atlanta University and has written several articles for various publications on leadership and school improvement.
He has been the recipient of several awards including Teacher of the Year, Early Leaders InEducation Award, Principal of the Year, Community Servant Award, and recently the recipient of the 2021 Dr. Martin Luther King Drum Major for Justice Excellence in Education Award.
He’s the author of several books: 10 Daily Essentials for Principals, 10 Daily Essentials for
Assistant Principals, Social-Emotional Support for Educational Leaders, Social-Emotional
Support for Teachers, and two children's books; Because My Teacher Said I Can, and School and Life Living In The Middle.
He believes in the power of collaboration, continuous learning, hard work, celebrating progress, and supporting principals and teachers to ensure that each child receives a world-class education.
