At Vision and Purpose Lifestyle Magazine, we aim to highlight individuals whose vision and purpose guide transformative leadership. Kendra Hall has dedicated her career to empowering others through creative storytelling, impactful mentorship, and groundbreaking initiatives. Her journey — bridging corporate expertise with a passion for community empowerment — has not only sparked change but also inspired countless women to step boldly into leadership roles. Through innovative platforms that amplify voices and cultivate personal growth, Kendra’s work reminds us that every challenge is an opportunity to craft a legacy of purpose and progress.
What’s the one jewel of wisdom you hope to leave behind for future generations of women leaders?
Kendra: Your purpose was never meant to fit inside someone else’s expectations. Walk boldly in what God placed inside you, even when it doesn’t make sense to anyone else. Trust the vision. The world will catch up.
Many people seek purpose, but few fully walk in it. Was there a defining moment in your journey when you knew, without a doubt, that you were living your purpose?
Kendra: Yes — the moment I realized that my pain had a purpose. I used to wonder why I had to go through certain struggles, but when I saw how my experiences were helping others heal, it clicked.
The defining moment wasn’t about recognition or success — it was about impact. Seeing someone say, “Because of your story, I didn’t give up” confirmed that I was walking in my calling.
As the founder of Droppin Jewelz LLC and The Jewelz Foundation, what are some similarities and differences between these brands?
Kendra: Both are built on empowerment, transformation, and legacy.
• Jewelz Foundation Inc. is about youth leadership and mentorship, equipping young people with the tools to lead, heal, and build.
• Droppin Jewelz LLC focuses on personal development through books, media, and wellness programs for a wider audience.
Same mission — different methods.
What can you tell our readers about Unbroken Jewelz? If a young girl picks up one of your books decades from now, what’s the one lesson you hope she carries with her?
Kendra: Unbroken Jewelz is about turning heartbreak into healing, and pain into power. It’s a book for anyone who has ever felt like they wouldn’t recover from life’s hardest moments.

If a young girl picks up my book decades from now, I hope she walks away knowing this: You are not what happened to you. You are what you choose to become next.
Women have always been at the forefront of social change, yet often unseen. In what ways do you believe women today can take up more space in leadership, media, and business without waiting for permission?
Kendra: By owning their expertise, taking up space, and building the things they wish existed.
Women have led movements, built businesses, and shaped history — often without credit. The best way to change that? Stop waiting for validation and start making impact.
Speak on the panel. Write the book. Launch the business. The doors won’t always open for us — sometimes we have to build our own.
