We love the Being That Girl brand and community. What does it mean to be That Girl?

What else would you like our readers to know about you?

Natasha: I love Jehovah and Jesus with my entire soul. I do everything for the benefit of my children, Rashard, Nathan and Tia. They will always be my favorite people in the entire world. I genuinely love to love other people through words and by fine works.

What are you most excited about for 2024?

Natasha: In 2024, I am absolutely thrilled about the upcoming Being That Girl Day of Empathy, scheduled for March 1st from 11:30 am to 9:00 pm at the Little Caesars Arena, in partnership with the Detroit Pistons. This event promises to be an unforgettable experience for Michigan’s youth.

We’ve organized a full day of engaging activities, starting with a Community Basketball Tournament that brings together youth, artists, and community leaders in friendly competition. Following the tournament, we’ll host a Youth Empowerment Fair, providing resources and support to help young individuals thrive.

Throughout the day, attendees can look forward to hearing from special guests and speakers who will inspire and motivate them to reach their full potential. And to cap off the festivities, we’ll enjoy watching the Detroit Pistons games from the comfort of the Gondola Suites and Northend Club, creating lasting memories in a premier sports venue.

I am truly excited about the opportunity to bring together youth from diverse backgrounds and provide them with a day filled with fun, empowerment, and inspiration. This event represents the essence of Being That Girl — empowering the next generation to dream big and achieve their goals.

Schools, Nonprofits, Youth Groups, Homeschool students are all encouraged to attend.

Further we will be facilitating a special awards partnered with the Detroit Pistons on 313 Day, for our 5th Annual Being That Girl Awards, 313 special edition. Get all details from www.iam-thatgirl.com
