About the Hosts
As the founder of Avalaura’s Healing Center in College Park, MD since November 2005, Avalaura uses a holistic approach to help individuals deal with challenges and life issues that stop them from living fully, completely, and authentically. She takes her clients from hole to wholeness in their lives, relationships, and businesses by guiding them through a powerful healing process that helps them discover who they are, who they wish to be, and how to get there. She is an avid foodie who loves to pray, meditate, laugh, travel, spend time with friends and family, and sit at the feet of her teachers and mentors.
Avalaura is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Howard University in Washington, DC. Additionally, she is a trained Reiki Master/Teacher, Certified Life Coach and Spiritual Counselor, Hypnotherapist, Holistic Aromatherapist and Yoga/Meditation, Instructor.
Over the last 15 years, Avalaura has spoken for sold-out retreats, national conferences, churches, and organizations including PayPal, Telstra, the United States Secret Service, GSA, the Sickle Cell Association of America, Topps Candy Company, the City of Hyattsville, the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission and Andrews Airforce Base.
Jessica A. Walker aka Jawspeaksdigital is a digital media expert who‘s focused on consistently empowering women to create authentic content. Her positive attitude and confidence is contagious. She will motivate you to conquer fears about technology and help you to finally move forward with those goals you’ve had for years. When she's not researching the latest digital tools & trends, helping business professionals digitize their IP with her Jawspeaksdigital podcast or teaching healthcare professionals how to create culturally relevant and woke content to deliver to mothers, you can find her dancing with her daughters on Instagram stories & breaking down Tupac lyrics with her sons on her family YouTube channels.
