About the Visionary Behind the Project: Dr. Latrese D. Younger

Dr. Younger is the Founder of Black Women Education Leaders (BWEL), a powerful movement and network dedicated to building leader capacity, fostering community, and nurturing life-long learners. Her passion for education runs deep, and her mission is clear: to develop, support, and spotlight Black women leaders who are making an undeniable impact.
With Black Women in Educational Leadership, Dr. Younger is creating a platform where experiences, struggles, victories, and wisdom are captured in an authentic and empowering way.

Adding brilliance to this project, the foreword will be penned by none other than Dr. Omega W. Wilson, an esteemed leadership expert, speaker, coach, and author. Known for her empowering philosophy—“Lead By Example”—Dr. Wilson brings decades of experience as a teacher, school leader, and executive, including her current role as Founder & CEO of Innovative Strategies Consulting, LLC.
